NVQ Level 2 Hairdressing Course Course Fee
£400.00 fee covering 15 -18 months

This program is a City and Guilds NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing. The trainee should be between the ages of 16-17; and have worked for your salon for a minimum of 3 months. The course is designed to be completed between 15 -18 months. Delivered Throughout the year.

The hairdressing trainee will be based in your Salon and training is in-house. Trainees will have compulsory written and practical assessments on these days obtaining booklets with all the requisite information corresponding to each unit of study. Vincent Bell arranges the assessors to your salon.

A textbook, folios and booklets are included in this one off course fee.

The NVQ Level 2 Hairdressing Course consists of 7 units and 2 optional courses:

• Health and safety within the Salon
• Shampooing and Conditioning Hair
• Style and Dress Hair
• Positive Impression
• Cutting
• Advice on consulting with Clients
• Colouring
• Perming (Optional)
• Reception duties (Optional)
• Developing and Maintaining Effectiveness (optional)
• Promotion of Additional Services and Products (optional)

The Salon has a major role to play in the completion of this award, working together with the Vincent Bell Academy. The Academy relieves the Salon of all paperwork associated with this course and more importantly allows for a much more focussed approach in supporting the strengths and weaknesses of the hairdressing trainee.
